As a Driver Recruiter, you will be at the forefront of showcasing our programs and benefits to new candidate drivers and owner operators. You will be responsible for prospecting, engaging, and recruiting new drivers while developing and implementing strategies to advertise driver positions. You will be in daily contact with new candidates to bring them on board. This position is for a dynamic individual with a strong passion to cultivate and maintain relations. The role provides earnings potential and allows recruiters to play an impactful role in our organization.
Functions and Tasks:
Build and develop a pipeline of experienced CDL candidate drivers and owner-operators for the Company
Partner with the Operation Manager to understand the execution strategy, and match the right candidates with the right opportunity
Know where and how to reach drivers and maintain relationships with those drivers from the point of introduction through hireWork in collaboration with the customer service team to ensure continuous flow of business to the company’s carrier network
Source, recruit, screen, and interview experienced driver candidates, utilizing sales, research, and networking skills, including cold calling, e-mail, computer databases, and Internet recruiting resources
Actively participate and continuously develop recruiting campaigns such as job boards, PPC, social media, among others
Educate candidates on the benefits of driving for the Company
Stay organize in managing multiple driver positions and coordinating with numerous candidates
Stay informed about latest recruiting trends and implement new trends on current recruiting process
Continuously work on seeking new talent and expanding your circle of candidates, keep your pipeline full
Personalized driver applicant attention to all fleet drivers in the application process, including driver understanding of company operation policy
Energetic and highly motivated
Strong telemarketing and sales skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced and goal driven environment
Knowledge of the transportation industry a plus
Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships
Bilingual in Spanish/English PREFERRED.
College degree preferred, or some college course work completed
1-2 years professional experience in Sales, Customer Service, Human Resources or Recruiting
Outside sales experience or experience in the Transportation or Logistics industry a plus
