For this Job:
Lead new prospect generation activities for new and incremental business.
Meet with new customers to develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and win business.
Utilize market insight and trends to provide cost-efficient logistics solutions to customers.
Oversee new customer onboarding and their subsequent success.
Regularly visit prospective and existing customers at their sites or industry events.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
5+ years of leadership experience in a 3PL or account management role in the 3PL industry.
Existing contacts or customers in the logistics and transportation industry.
Proven track record of successful negotiation and relationship-building.
Experience as a national account manager, sales manager, account executive, insight sales, outside sales, business managers, sales development manager, and/or lead generation.
Freight brokerage industry experience is a plus.
Self-motivated and tenacious, with a passion for exceeding goals.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to persuade, motivate and influence others.
Results-oriented and driven by performance compensation.
