We are seeking dynamic team players who are passionate about freight transportation and logistics, with a particular focus on owner-operator relations. In this OTR Dispatcher role, you will be pivotal in ensuring that loads are first offered to our owner-operators, aligning with our commitment to them. Your objective will be to optimize performance and profitability while maintaining excellent communication and relationships with our owner-operators. Key Responsibilities

• Owner-Operator first approach: Ensure that owner-operators are given first consideration for load assignments in line with company commitments.
• Effective communication: Engage in continuous dialogue with owner-operators to understand their needs and perspectives.
• Strategic load matching: Align our trucks with customer orders, focusing on owner-operator availability and preferences.
• Market insight and profitability: Keep abreast of transportation market trends to offer cost-effective services while achieving profit goals.
• Collaborative planning: Work with internal teams to create efficient logistics routes that benefit our fleet and support our owner-operators.
• Regulatory compliance: Apply knowledge of Hours of Service and other regulations in load assignments.
• Performance metrics: Strive to meet or exceed KPIs that reflect your commitment to our owner-operators and company goals.

What you bring:

• Educational background: College degree preferred, or relevant experience in logistics and dispatch.
• Industry experience: Experience in dispatching, especially with owner-operators, is highly valued.
• Exceptional communication skills: Strong verbal and written abilities to connect with owner-operators and team members.
