For this Job:

• Manage and match available loads from our clients to over-the-road truck to maximize the capacity of each truck and driver, consolidating cargo throughout all regions.
• Understanding current market trends and rates to improve service/cost to meet the operation profit margin goals
• Responsible for fleet profitability by continuously assigning loads based on a preplanned operation. This role includes booking freight ahead of time as necessary
• Continuous communication with drivers to ensure load planning and accurate assignment
• Collaborate with internal operational teams to implement cost-efficient logistics solutions to move the company trucks
• Full understanding of Hours of Service regulation for proper load assignment
• Meet or exceed expected KPIs

What you bring:

• College degree preferred, or some college course work completed.
• Strong negotiation skills packing a winning character with confidence and convincing power
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills. The ability to communicate effectively with your team and our customers
• Results-oriented individual motivated by performance compensation
